Alienware and AOC launch flagship gaming monitors with OLED and QD-OLED technology

Alienware celebrated its 30th anniversary at Computex 2026 by unveiling three new gaming monitors. The flagship 39‑inch AW3926QW is the world’s first 5K OLED gaming monitor, using an RGB‑stripe panel that reaches up to 1,300 nits brightness and supports 165 Hz at 5K or 330 Hz at 1080p. Two 34‑inch models follow: the AW3426DW QD‑OLED ultrawide with a 280 Hz refresh rate and improved anti‑glare coating, and the more affordable AW3426DWM curved VA panel with a 240 Hz refresh rate. All three displays feature HDR certifications, NVIDIA G‑SYNC and AMD FreeSync support, HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 2.1 and USB‑C power delivery.

AOC introduced its Agon Pro AGP497UCZD, a 49‑inch ultrawide QD‑OLED monitor aimed at both gamers and professionals. It offers a 32:9, 5,120 × 1,440 resolution, 240 Hz refresh rate, 1,800R curvature, typical brightness of 250 nits (peaking at 1,000 nits in HDR) and a 1.5 million:1 static contrast ratio. Colour coverage exceeds 99% of DCI‑P3 and Adobe RGB, with factory calibration for ΔE < 1. The unit includes HDR True Black 400 certification, dual HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 2.1, USB‑C with 90 W delivery, an integrated KVM switch and two 8 W speakers.
