Tech giants unveil 1,000 Hz monitors and AI tools at IFA 2026

Major technology manufacturers have unveiled a new generation of display and computing hardware at IFA 2026. Acer introduced the Predator XB253Q U1, a 24.5-inch Full HD gaming monitor featuring a world-first 1,000 Hz refresh rate and 0.3ms response time. Their lineup also includes QD-OLED Penta Tandem panels and a 3D laptop with eye-tracking technology.

LG Electronics debuted the LG UltraGear 25G590B, another 1,000 Hz Full HD monitor designed for esports, alongside the mobile 32-inch 4K StanbyME 2 Max. Dell’s Alienware brand showcased high-performance OLED monitors, including the AW3226Q with 4K resolution and Tandem OLED technology, and the AW2527HX, a 560Hz QD-OLED model.

In the realm of artificial intelligence, Nvidia launched PAIR (Personal AI Router), an open-source tool that allows users to distribute AI inference tasks across multiple idle computers in a local network, effectively creating a personal decentralized AI cluster.
