Alieu Njie discusses transfer from Torino to Fiorentina

Alieu Njie has discussed his summer transfer from Torino to Fiorentina, noting that the decision to join the Florence-based club was driven by their youth-oriented project and the presence of manager Paolo Vanoli. Njie, who previously played under Vanoli at Torino, stated that the opportunity to work with him again is ideal for his professional growth.

Njie revealed that a move to the English Premier League with Crystal Palace was nearly finalized. Despite his initial desire to leave Italy, he chose Fiorentina due to their attractive offer and the club's potential. He noted that Crystal Palace attempted to intervene at the last moment while he was undergoing medical examinations for Fiorentina, but he remained committed to the move to Italy.
