Aliko Dangote accepts interview invitation from content creator Bae U

Billionaire businessman Aliko Dangote has accepted an invitation from content creator Adebayo Ridwan, known as Bae U Barbie, to appear on the YouTube show ‘Curiosity Made Me Ask’. The invitation was extended during the Vision 2030 event, where Ridwan suggested that Dangote engage more with younger Nigerians through digital platforms that his generation frequently uses, noting that many of the billionaire's previous interviews were on platforms less accessible to youth interested in his business and upcoming initial public offering.

Dangote responded by emphasizing the importance of intergenerational dialogue, stating that the youth represent the future and that older generations must share their experiences to aid national development. He also spoke on the philosophy of simplicity, noting that his wealth does not prevent him from living with basic comforts or staying in modest accommodations. He encouraged humility, stating, “anybody can be anybody,” and shared an anecdote regarding the simplicity of the Prime Minister of Ethiopia to illustrate his point.
