Alila Shanghai celebrates second anniversary with multi-property event

Alila Shanghai celebrated its second anniversary in the Jing’an District with an exclusive event titled ‘Celebrating the world of Alila’. The gathering served as a collaborative milestone involving all three Alila properties in China: Alila Shanghai, Alila Wuzhen, and Alila Dong’ao Island.

The event included a cocktail party and gala dinner attended by media, VIPs, owner representatives, and Hyatt APAC leadership. The culinary program featured guest chefs from Alila Villas Uluwatu, Alila Napa Valley, and Alila Jabal Akhdar, focusing on local ingredients and gastronomic heritage. The evening also incorporated sustainability storytelling, paper-cut art by Jiang Honglin, a drone light show, and a water-mirror dance.

Jtawen Yap, Area Director of Greater China and General Manager of Alila Shanghai, noted that the anniversary brought the global Alila family together to showcase the brand’s approach to luxury hospitality.
