Alimentacioni fond paid 31,000 euros in support, recovered only 50 euros

The Alimentacioni fond (Alimony Fund) distributed 31,360.39 euros in temporary child support during July, covering 298 children through 270 decisions from social work centers. Of this amount, 30,464.91 euros went directly to support payments, while 895.48 euros was allocated for enforcement costs.

Despite the state currently seeking more than 31,000 euros from parents who failed to meet their support obligations, only 50 euros was returned to the Fund during the month. The Fund initiates collection procedures through the Protector of Property and Legal Interests of the State against non-compliant parents.

Podgorica recorded the highest number of recipients with 91 children, followed by Nikšić with 39, Budva with 25, Bar with 20, Danilovgrad with 25, and Bijelo Polje with 17. For the 2026 state budget, 900,000 euros has been earmarked for these temporary support payments.
