Alina International Eye Hospital launches charity project for cataract surgery

Alina International Eye Hospital has launched the “Alina Hope – Bringing Light to the Community” project to support elderly patients facing financial barriers to eye care. The initiative aims to provide funding for cataract surgeries and specialized eye treatments for disadvantaged individuals.

Starting September 15, 2026, the hospital will allocate 10,000 VND from its own budget for every invoice generated. This amount is not an additional charge to customers but is instead deducted from the hospital's revenue to build a long-term support fund. This model is designed to provide a stable financial resource rather than relying on short-term donations.

The project was introduced during an event in Hung Yen featuring eye screenings and health education for seniors from Hanoi, Hung Yen, and surrounding areas. Dr. Tran Minh Ha, Medical Director of the hospital, noted that financial constraints often cause patients to delay necessary treatments, leading to permanent vision loss.
