Alina Pușcău recovers from cancer after $1 million US treatment

Model Alina Pușcău has announced that she is cancer-free following an intensive medical treatment in California, United States. After being diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year and discovering 11 tumors in her breasts and axilla, Pușcău underwent chemotherapy and experimental treatments at a specialized clinic.

Recent PET-CT scans revealed that the previously detected tumors are no longer identifiable. Pușcău noted that the total cost of the treatment, which involved three highly expensive medications, exceeded $1 million. She confirmed that her medical insurance in the United States covered the full cost of the procedure, stating, “I was lucky because I have insurance here and the treatment is paid.”
