Alina Pușcău undergoes cancer treatment at UCLA

Former model Alina Pușcău is undergoing treatment in California for metastatic cancer that has spread to her bones. She is currently participating in the ‘Destiny-Breast09’ clinical trial at UCLA, which she identifies as her only viable treatment option. Pușcău noted that her heart health is a critical factor in her ability to withstand the intensive medical regimen.

Her treatment schedule includes sessions every three weeks, with upcoming sessions planned for late August and mid-September. Following these sessions, she will undergo PET scans and MRI tests to determine if the tumors have shrunk or if the metastasis has stabilized.

During this period, Pușcău has received support from friend and singer Andreea Antonescu, who visited her in the United States. Additionally, Pușcău’s mother is preparing to travel to America to assist with her care during the treatment process.
