Alina Pușcău undergoes intensive cancer treatment in the US

Alina Pușcău, who was diagnosed with breast cancer and multiple tumors, has begun the Destiny-Breast09 treatment protocol in the United States. The treatment, which costs approximately $500,000, is described as being more intensive than options available in Romania.

Pușcău reported experiencing severe side effects, including intense pressure in her head and body, necessitating hospitalization for strong medication to manage the pain. She noted that for ten days following each chemotherapy session, the physical toll is so significant that she is unable to function normally. Despite the hardship, she expressed optimism, noting that she feels the tumor may be shrinking and is awaiting a PET scan to confirm the results.
