Alior Bank integrates investment and currency services into mobile app

Alior Bank is implementing significant updates to its digital services, integrating core financial tools directly into its mobile banking platform.

As part of an ongoing expansion of Alior Mobile, the bank has introduced the ability for customers to purchase investment funds directly within the app. Previously, users could only view their holdings or make top-up payments. The new functionality includes tools to filter funds by risk level and type, as well as sorting by name or return rate, providing historical performance data to assist in decision-making.

Simultaneously, the bank is migrating its currency exchange service (Kantor) into the main Alior Mobile and Alior Online applications. This move will eliminate the separate transaction service and dedicated exchange app. Following this migration, users will require a PLN savings and settlement account and a foreign currency account at Alior Bank to access exchange services. While existing customers can continue using previously established accounts, new users will be required to open accounts with Alior Bank to utilize the service.
