Alior Bank to integrate currency exchange into main mobile app

Alior Bank has announced it will integrate its currency exchange service into its main mobile banking application, phasing out its standalone app and dedicated web service.

The transition will be implemented in stages. The first group of individual clients will move to the new service on November 22, 2026. The remaining individual clients are scheduled to be migrated in 2027. Clients included in the first phase do not need to take any action if they accept the change; their access to the old standalone application and website will be deactivated on November 22, after which the service will be available via Alior Mobile and Alior Online.

Launched in July 2012, Alior’s currency exchange was one of the first of its kind in the Polish market, allowing users to exchange currency without necessarily holding a primary account with the bank.
