Alireza Beiranvand faces suspension amid transfer controversies

Iranian goalkeeper Alireza Beiranvand remains at the center of significant controversy within domestic football following his departure from Persepolis FC. After unilaterally terminating his contract with Persepolis to join Tractor SC, a legal dispute ensued. In August 2025, the Appeals Committee issued a four-month suspension and a financial penalty, though the suspension was subsequently stayed for one year.

Amidst these developments, rumors regarding a potential move to Esteghlal FC continue to circulate. Former Esteghlal defender Amin Hajmohammadi has advised Beiranvand to exercise caution, suggesting that while a move to Esteghlal remains a possibility, he should avoid making public statements or decisions that create friction with his current club, Tractor SC, during his active contract period.
