Alisha Palmowski takes pole at F1 Academy Dutch GP

Alisha Palmowski secured pole position for the F1 Academy Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort following a challenging qualifying session. Despite wet track conditions and the strategic difficulty of managing limited wet-weather tyre sets, the Red Bull Racing-backed championship leader managed to master the drying circuit.

In the qualifying session, Palmowski beat Alba Larsen and Natalia Granada to take the top spot. The session was marked by unpredictable weather and several incidents, including a red flag caused by Lisa Billard. Megan Bruce and wildcard Zoe Florescu Potolea are set to share the front row for the reverse-grid race.

The weekend follows a practice session where local driver Nina Gademan topped the timesheets under mixed weather conditions. This event marks the return of the F1 Academy championship from its summer break and serves as the final European leg of the season.
