South American Games: Alison dos Santos wins 400m gold
Athletes are achieving significant results at the 2026 South American Games in Santa Fe, Argentina. Brazilian sprinter Alison dos Santos, known as Piu, secured the gold medal in the 400m dash with a time of 44.61 seconds. This performance set a new competition record, breaking his own previous mark of 44.99 seconds set during the semifinals.
