Alissa White-Gluz Balances Solo Album, New Band Blue Medusa and Frontwoman Role with DragonForce

Former Arch Enemy vocalist Alissa White-Gluz told Magenta TV at Germany's Wacken Open Air festival that she is simultaneously working on her upcoming solo album "Alissa", leading the all‑female band Blue Medusa and serving as the first female frontwoman for British power‑metal group DragonForce. She said each project fulfills a different creative purpose, with Blue Medusa being her main passion and focus.

White‑Gluz added that performing with DragonForce lets her explore a vocal style she has long wanted to develop, drawing on her love of musical theatre. The Canadian singer highlighted how the high‑energy DragonForce repertoire pushes her voice in new directions while she continues to develop material for her solo record and new releases from Blue Medusa.
