Alisson Becker Linked With Juventus Move as Liverpool Extend His Contract

Liverpool have activated a clause that keeps goalkeeper Alisson Becker contracted until the summer of 2027, signalling the club’s intention to retain him for the next season. Juventus remain interested in signing the Brazilian, viewing him as a central figure for a project that could see him return to Italy even if the club fails to qualify for the Champions League.

Alisson has indicated a desire to leave Anfield after Liverpool’s final league match against Brentford, hoping to end his eight‑year spell at the club on a high note. He is attracted by Juventus’s plan to use his experience and charisma to strengthen a side that recently suffered a budget cut of €55‑60 million due to the loss of Champions League revenue. The transfer would require a fee, as Alisson’s contract runs to June 2027, and negotiations are being conducted by his agent ahead of the World Cup.

If the move proceeds, it would mark a return to Serie A for the 33‑year‑old goalkeeper, who has amassed more than 300 appearances for Liverpool and won multiple domestic and international trophies.
