Alithya Group and Aeluma face analyst downgrades and valuation scrutiny

Alithya Group has faced several recent stock rating downgrades from multiple financial institutions. Ventum Financial lowered its rating from “buy” to “neutral” and reduced its price target to C$1.35. Other brokerages, including Desjardins, Scotiabank, and ATB Cormark Capital Markets, have also issued downgrades or lowered price objectives for the company.

Separately, semiconductor development company Aeluma, Inc. is facing scrutiny regarding its valuation. While the company announced a letter of intent with the U.S. Department of Commerce for up to $30 million under the CHIPS Act, analysts have issued a “sell” rating. Concerns cited include reduced revenue guidance, falling gross margins, and significant increases in stock-based compensation and share count.
