Red Bull Bragantino defender Alix Vinícius has been discharged from the hospital following a violent head collision during a match against Atlético Mineiro at Arena MRV. The incident occurred early in the game when Alix and Atlético player Vitor Hugo collided while competing for a high ball.

Alix was rendered unconscious by the impact and was transported via ambulance to Hospital Mater Dei in Belo Horizonte for evaluation.
