Alkaloid celebrates 90 years of business in Macedonia

The Macedonian company Alkaloid is celebrating its 90th anniversary. Branko Azeski, President of the Economic Chamber of Macedonia, highlighted the company’s role as a stable, professional, and export-oriented leader within the national economy.

Azeski noted that Alkaloid has remained successful through various political systems and transitions across three different states. He praised the company for its contributions during the COVID-19 crisis, specifically its efforts to maintain raw material transport through border blockades, and its advocacy for Balkan businesses in Brussels.

The company is recognized for its strong brands and leadership model. Azeski expressed optimism that by its 100th anniversary, the company could reach a turnover of one billion euros.
