Alkaloid donates 2.2 million denars to Kozle Children's Clinic
Alkaloid has raised nearly 2.2 million denars during its 12th annual humanitarian picnic to support the University Clinic for Respiratory Diseases in Children Kozle. The funds are designated for the purchase of a modern bronchological tower equipped with a fiberoptic bronchoscope.
This specialized medical equipment will allow for precise examinations of the airways, timely diagnosis, and treatment of lung diseases in children, as well as management of emergencies involving inhaled foreign bodies. Prof. Dr. Katerina Boshkovska, director of the Kozle Clinic, noted that the donation provides concrete and lasting value for the community by improving treatment conditions for young patients.
The initiative, which began in 2011 to mark the company’s 75th anniversary, is managed through the Trajche Mukaetov Foundation. Since its inception, the company’s humanitarian efforts have raised approximately 14 million denars to support various healthcare institutions, vulnerable groups, and environmental initiatives.
