Alkami and Plaid Expand Partnership to Boost Connected Digital Banking

Alkami Technology announced an expanded partnership with Plaid, embedding Plaid’s data network directly into the Alkami Digital Banking Platform. The live integration lets U.S. banks and credit unions let account holders instantly link external accounts, view all transactions in one place, and receive clean financial data, reducing technical effort for institutions.

Josh Winstead, vice‑president of corporate development at Alkami, said the collaboration reflects a shared commitment to “provide account holders with a complete, connected view of their financial lives.” Plaid’s head of partnerships, Adam Yoxtheimer, added that the expanded tie‑up helps financial institutions deliver more comprehensive digital experiences that deepen engagement. The partnership is promoted alongside Alkami’s broader digital sales and service platform, which the company positions as a way for banks to scale relationship banking in a digital‑first environment.

The combined messaging emphasizes that modern banks must move beyond basic digital access toward integrated, relationship‑focused services, using unified platforms to connect disparate systems and improve customer engagement.
