Alkís Davíd ordered to pay $90 million in sexual harassment case
A Los Angeles court has awarded $90,000,000 to an anonymous woman in a sexual harassment lawsuit against businessman Alkís Davíd. This ruling follows a June 2024 decision where the initial amount awarded was $900,000,000, but the final figure has been adjusted following appeals.
Davíd, an heir to the Coca-Cola HBC family, has been involved in legal disputes with at least five women alleging sexual harassment over the last 15 years. In an attempt to defend himself, Davíd filed lawsuits against six individuals in 2024, accusing them of forming a criminal organization to target him, but these efforts were unsuccessful.
This case follows a 2019 legal victory by former employee Lauren Reeves, who was awarded $4,350,000. After failing to locate Davíd’s assets in the United States, Reeves pursued his holdings in Greece, resulting in the sale of his villa in Spetses.
