All About Youth hosts community day in Shrewsbury

The youth charity All About Youth, in collaboration with Shropshire’s Members of Youth Parliament (MYPs), organized a community day at The Lodge in Shrewsbury. The event was led by young people who facilitated various activities and workshops for local residents.

Key sessions included workshops on mental health, first aid, and financial literacy, with Santander providing expertise for the latter. The MYPs also used the event to collect feedback from young people regarding transport issues across Shropshire.

Local organizations participated in the event, including the Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service, Shrewsbury Town FC Foundation, and Shrewsbury Street Pastors. Other contributors included Tesco and the Shrewsbury Food Hub, which provided refreshments.
