All American series finale concludes after eight seasons

The CW football drama ‘All American’ has concluded its eight-season run with a series finale titled ‘To Live and Die in L.A.’ The finale featured a six-year time jump, revealing that Spencer James became a three-time Super Bowl champion before retiring in Los Angeles. Other character developments included Jordan becoming a head football coach, Khalil pursuing medical school, Coop becoming a lawyer, and Amina entering politics.

Showrunner Nkechi Okoro Carroll confirmed that Taye Diggs returned to reprise his role as Billy Baker. However, Cody Christian, who played Asher Adams, did not appear in the final season. Carroll cited budget constraints, scheduling conflicts, and storyline limitations as the reasons for his absence, noting that the production could not accommodate all original cast members due to financial and timeline restrictions.

Netflix has scheduled the streaming debut of the final season and multiple previous seasons for October 6, 2026.
