All Blacks defeat Wallabies 50-19 to retain Bledisloe Cup

The New Zealand All Blacks secured their 12th consecutive victory over the Australian Wallabies with a 50-19 win at Eden Park. The result ensures the Bledisloe Cup remains in New Zealand, where it has been held since 2003.

Despite trailing 17-14 early in the second half, the Wallabies conceded 26 consecutive points to the All Blacks, which effectively ended the contest. Wallabies fullback Tom Wright noted that the team held a thorough review of the performance following the loss, stating that the group “faced the music” and engaged in honest conversations to address the second-half collapse.

Australia will seek to redeem themselves in a rematch scheduled for Saturday in Sydney.
