All Blacks embark on Greatest Rivalry tour of South Africa and USA

New Zealand's All Blacks have named a 44‑man squad for the inaugural "Greatest Rivalry" tour that will take the team to South Africa and the United States. The itinerary features four matches against South African United Rugby Championship franchises and a four‑Test series against the Springboks in Johannesburg, followed by games in the United States.

The squad includes three uncapped players – prop Siale Lauaki, loose forward Semisi Tupou Ta’eiloa and Chiefs playmaker Josh Jacomb – who have been given the chance to earn their first Test caps. Veteran wing/full‑back Emoni Narawa, returning from a series of serious injuries, is also in the group and is competing for the number 14 jersey, hoping to replace the early‑career setbacks that saw him miss the 2023 Rugby World Cup.

All Blacks head coach Dave Rennie emphasised that every member of the enlarged squad will be required to contribute across the demanding seven‑week schedule, which aims to strengthen depth ahead of future international commitments.
