All Blacks name squad for final Test against South Africa

All Blacks head coach Dave Rennie has announced a significantly altered lineup for the fourth and final Test against South Africa, scheduled for Saturday at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore. The New Zealand side currently trails the series 2-1.

Veteran hooker Codie Taylor returns to the squad and will captain the team, replacing the injured Ardie Savea. The selection includes the recall of fly-half Richie Mo'unga, who replaces Ruben Love to take the number 10 position. This marks Mo'unga's first Test appearance since the 2023 Rugby World Cup final.

Several other changes have been made to the forward pack due to injuries and illness, including the returns of Ethan de Groot and Josh Lord. The match is part of the series billed as ‘Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry’ and serves to promote the sport in the United States ahead of the 2031 World Cup.
