Springboks level Test series against All Blacks with Cape Town win

The four-Test rugby series between the Springboks and the All Blacks is currently leveled at 1-1 following South Africa’s 33-26 victory in Cape Town. This win follows an opening Test loss for the Springboks in Johannesburg, shifting the momentum of the series.

Springboks coach Rassie Erasmus warned his squad against complacency, noting that the New Zealand side has improved significantly under coach Dave Rennie. Meanwhile, All Blacks center Jordie Barrett emphasized the need for attacking innovation to overcome the defensive partnership of Damian de Allende and Jesse Kriel.

The series moves to FNB Stadium in Soweto for the third Test, with the final match scheduled to take place in the United States. South Africa will be without fullback Damian Willemse, who is sidelined with a hamstring injury.
