All Blacks defeat Sharks 54-0 in rain-soaked Durban

The All Blacks secured their second victory of the South Africa tour with a dominant 54-0 win over the Sharks at a rain-soaked Kings Park Stadium in Durban. New Zealand scored eight tries, with Ruben Love successfully converting seven. Notable scorers included Fehi Fineanganofo, Caleb Clarke, Jordie Barrett, Kyle Preston, Timoci Tavatavanawai, and Sam Darry.

Despite the commanding scoreline, the match was marked by an injury concern for All Blacks fullback Damian McKenzie, who left the field with an ankle injury after scoring a try. Additionally, former All Black legend Ma’a Nonu, playing for the Sharks, provided a historic moment by performing a solo haka in response to the New Zealand team’s traditional challenge.

The All Blacks will now travel to Pretoria to face the Bulls before beginning their Test series against South Africa.
