All Creatures Great and Small confirms season 7 return date

The period drama ‘All Creatures Great and Small’ will return for its seventh season on Thursday, 17 September. Set in the Yorkshire Dales in 1946, the new season follows the characters as they navigate a post-war era and look toward a hopeful new chapter.

Returning cast members include Nicholas Ralph as veterinarian James Herriot, Samuel West as Siegfried Farnon, Callum Woodhouse as Tristan Farnon, Anna Madeley as Mrs. Hall, and Rachel Shenton as Helen Herriot. The upcoming season will introduce Caolan McCarthy as Granville Bennett, a rival veterinarian whose arrival threatens the existing status quo at Skeldale House.

An eighth season has already been confirmed for the series, which is based on the books by James Herriot.
