All India Institute of Ayurveda promotes lifestyle changes to prevent disease

Professor Pradeep Kumar Prajapati, Director of the All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), stated that improving lifestyle habits could potentially eliminate 50 percent of diseases. He emphasized the importance of balancing diet and daily routines to reduce the need for medicinal intervention.

Prajapati noted that modern challenges, such as high screen time and sedentary habits, contribute to various health issues. He advocated for the integration of Ayurveda and Yoga into daily life to combat these modern ailments. To increase public trust, he urged research institutes to provide scientific evidence and backing for Ayurvedic practices.

Additionally, the AIIA is preparing for a mass movement to promote Ayurvedic principles across India. On a diplomatic level, Nicaragua's Ambassador Nadeska Cuthbert recently visited the institute, and a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is expected to be signed soon to promote Ayurvedic exchange between the two nations.
