All My Children Revival Movies Hire Veteran Soap Writers Ron Carlivati and Jamey Giddens

Lifetime is moving forward with two planned "All My Children" reunion movies produced by Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos through their Milojo Productions company. Veteran daytime writers Ron Carlivati and Jamey Giddens have been tapped to co‑write the first of the two films. Carlivati, a Daytime Emmy winner who has head‑written for "One Life to Live," "General Hospital" and "Days of Our Lives," announced the collaboration on Instagram. Giddens, recently appointed co‑head writer of "The Young and the Restless," also confirmed the hire via his own social‑media post, noting the personal significance of the project for the couple who met on the original series. Both writers have extensive experience in long‑running soap operas and have earned multiple Writers Guild of America awards. The movies aim to bring fans back to Pine Valley and will air on Lifetime.
