All On marks 10 years with Nigeria hackathon spurring clean‑energy innovation
All On, a renewable‑energy impact investment firm seeded by Shell, celebrated its 10‑year anniversary in Lagos with a hackathon aimed at inspiring the next generation of clean‑energy innovators in Nigeria. Chief Executive Officer Caroline Eboumbou said the event, part of the Datafest series, showcases the company’s long‑term commitment to expanding access to affordable, reliable renewable power for low‑income households and small businesses.
Students from the University of Lagos, Lagos State University and Yaba College of Technology formed six multidisciplinary teams to develop solutions for healthcare, education, agriculture, fisheries, cold‑chain logistics and productive energy use. The winning team, Current Creators, presented “ColdLink,” an integrated digital platform that leverages renewable‑powered cold‑chain logistics, real‑time monitoring and predictive analytics to reduce post‑harvest losses and improve sustainability.
All On provides debt and equity financing as well as non‑financial support to Nigerian clean‑energy companies, and the hackathon is intended to build talent, ideas and leadership that will shape the sector’s future.
