All3 startup to deploy AI-powered robots in German construction project

London-based startup All3 plans to deploy four-legged, AI-powered robots for a residential “micro living” project in Koblenz, Germany, in early 2027. The project will serve as a commercial test for the company’s system designed to automate large-scale construction tasks.

CEO Rodion Shishkov stated that the technology aims to address low labor productivity and high costs within the construction industry, which he noted has seen declining productivity over the last 50 years. The robots are designed to autonomously exit shipping containers and access necessary instruments to begin work.

This move reflects a broader trend in construction technology; in 2025, 77% of construction tech funding was directed toward AI-enabled solutions, up from 35% in 2024. However, automating construction remains difficult due to the unpredictable and unstandardized nature of building sites compared to factory environments.
