Allan Grimson convicted of sexual assaults in addition to 1990s murders

Former Royal Navy petty officer Allan Grimson, already serving a life sentence for the 1990s murders of 18‑year‑old sailor Nicholas Wright and 20‑year‑old barman Sion Jenkins, was found guilty at Winchester Crown Court of a further 13 offences. The convictions cover rape, multiple indecent assaults and the taking of indecent photographs involving four male victims, including a 14‑year‑old boy, with the assaults occurring between 1994 and 1999.

Jurors convicted Grimson on every count, and the judge described him as a "serial killer in nature if not by number." He is due to be sentenced on 6 November, facing additional prison time for the newly proven sexual crimes.
