Allan joins Manchester City from Palmeiras in major transfer

Brazilian attacker Allan has joined Manchester City from Palmeiras in a transfer valued at approximately 37.5 million euros. When adjusted for currency exchange rates at the time of sale, the deal represents the third most valuable transfer of a Brazilian player to an international club in terms of Brazilian Reais, totaling over R$ 239 million.

Manchester City manager Enzo Maresca has praised the 22-year-old, noting his proficiency in one-on-one situations and attacking capabilities within the box. Allan is expected to provide versatility to the squad, capable of playing as a midfielder or on either wing, following the departure of Savinho to Tottenham.
