All’Antico Vinaio plans new bistro format at Palazzo Strozzi

The Florentine food brand All’Antico Vinaio is preparing to take over the catering services at Palazzo Strozzi. While a final contract has not yet been signed, reports indicate that a decision could be officialised within the coming weeks.

The proposed project aims to implement a new format that differs from the brand’s traditional quick-service model. Instead of the typical ‘grab-and-go’ style seen at its famous street-side locations, the Palazzo Strozzi venue is expected to function more like a bistro. This would include a more varied menu and table service, designed to cater to both museum visitors and local residents within the museum’s 15th-century courtyard.

This move represents a significant step for both institutions, blending the international gastronomic fame of Tommaso Mazzanti’s brand with the cultural prestige of one of Florence’s most important art institutions.
