Allegations of political pressure and administrative irregularities in education sectors

In Peru, the Ministry of Education (MINEDU) has faced scrutiny following the appointment of Ebert Hernán Ordinola Ramírez as Secretary General. Ordinola Ramírez, a lawyer, was promoted to the position—the sector's highest administrative authority—with a monthly salary of S/ 25,000. Questions have been raised regarding the credentials used for his ascent, specifically three diplomas from the Instituto Peruano de Administración Gubernamental (IPERAG). Records indicate that all three diplomas were issued on the same day, December 28, 2023, and cover identical study periods, totaling 720 academic hours.

In Mexico, teachers at CECyTE EMSaD have denounced alleged political pressure and irregularities regarding the dismissal of directors. Staff members claim that evaluations used to justify these removals lack transparency and are being used as retaliation against those who refused to participate in proselitist activities for a Morena candidate in Tlaxcala.
