Allegro opens new office and establishes company in Shenzhen, China

Allegro has established a new office in Shenzhen, China, by forming a Wholly Foreign-Owned Enterprise (WFOE). The move is intended to foster direct relationships with Chinese sellers and improve the enforcement of platform standards regarding product safety and compliance.

Previously, Allegro managed international partner verification from its offices in Warsaw, Poznań, and Prague. The company noted that operating from over 8,000 kilometers away across different time zones presented logistical limitations. By establishing a physical presence in Shenzhen, a major technology hub, Allegro aims to scale its operations and reduce reliance on intermediaries.

Additionally, the company intends to leverage the Shenzhen location to access logistical and technological innovations, which it plans to implement across Central and Eastern European markets to strengthen its competitiveness against global e-commerce giants.
