Allen, Texas to host United Athletic Conference basketball tournaments

The United Athletic Conference (UAC) has announced that the Credit Union of Texas Event Center in Allen, Texas, will host its Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournaments for the next three years. The hosting period begins with the 2026-27 championship season.

The first tournaments in Allen are scheduled to take place from March 10 to 14, 2027, featuring eight men’s teams and eight women’s teams competing for the conference championship. The venue is a 7,000-plus seat facility located in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

Allen Mayor Chris Schulmeister expressed gratitude for the selection, noting that the partnership reflects the community’s investment in hosting championship-caliber events. Unisun Sports CEO Jeff Bacon stated that the priority was to provide a high-quality experience for student-athletes, coaches, and fans.
