Allessa Paes wins Miss Brasil Gay 2026
Allessa Paes, representing Pará, was crowned Miss Brasil Gay 2026 during the 44th edition of the competition held in Juiz de Fora, Minas Gerais. This victory marks the first time a representative from the state of Pará has won the title.
In addition to the main title, Paes won awards for Best Typical Costume and Best Gala Attire. The competition, which celebrated its 50th anniversary this year, aims to combat prejudice against homosexuals and transformists. Paes, who has been involved in transformism for 14 years, also participates in campaigns against LGBTphobia and HIV prevention.
The final podium included Mary Miller from the Distrito Federal in second place and Wend Caster from Rio de Janeiro in third place.
