Allgäu cinemas to offer five-euro tickets during Kinofest 2026

Selected cinemas in the Allgäu region of Germany will participate in the Kinofest 2026 on September 12 and 13. During these two days, all seats for all films at participating theaters will be available for five euros.

Participating venues in the Allgäu include Alpenfilmtheater Füssen, Cineplex Memmingen, CICO Cinema Corona in Kaufbeuren, and Filmhaus Huber in Türkheim. Nationally, 474 cinemas are participating in the event, with 59 participating in Bavaria.

According to the Filmförderungsanstalt (FFA), the German cinema industry has seen a resurgence, with 47.5 million tickets sold in the first half of the year. Organizers expect high demand for the festival and recommend that patrons reserve tickets early through the participating cinemas.
