Allgäu region features ten most beautiful cities according to travel magazine

Among the featured locations is Lindenberg im Allgäu, noted for its sunny climate and its history as a center for the German hat industry. The magazine recommends visiting the German Hat Museum and the St. Peter and Paul parish church. Kempten, described as the ‘metropolis of the Allgäu,’ is recognized as one of Germany’s oldest cities and is noted for its student population and patrician houses near Rathausplatz. Marktoberdorf is highlighted as a destination for tractor enthusiasts due to the headquarters of the Fendt company, where visitors can view vintage models.
