Allgäuer Festwoche: Heat and weather protection tips for visitors

Visitors to the Allgäuer Festwoche are advised to take specific precautions to protect themselves against extreme heat and weather during the outdoor event. To combat high temperatures, the Kempten Municipal Utilities are providing free drinking water to guests and exhibitors near the Wittelsbacher Schule outdoor area. Visitors are encouraged to bring reusable bottles and cups for refills.

The Bavarian Red Cross recommends several safety measures, including consuming at least three liters of fluids during the festival, eating sugary foods to support circulation, using sufficient sunscreen, and avoiding direct sun exposure, especially for those with pre-existing conditions. Additionally, wearing lighter clothing is suggested to improve comfort during the summer heat.
