Alliage launches PreXion Elite 3-in-1 dental tomograph
Alliage has introduced the PreXion Elite, a 3-in-1 dental imaging platform that integrates computed tomography, panoramic imaging, and cephalometry. The device was presented at the Conabro 2026 congress in Fortaleza, Brazil.
To address the need for high-volume diagnostic accuracy, the equipment utilizes a Dual Focal Spot (DFS) system. This technology employs two distinct focal points tailored to specific modalities. For tomographic imaging, the device uses a 0.17 mm virtual/effective focal point to allow for detailed visualization of small anatomical structures and fracture lines. For panoramic exams, it utilizes a dedicated focal point.
According to Alliage CEO Caetano Biagi, the development focused on ensuring each modality maintains high quality standards rather than forcing radiology practices to adapt to technological limitations. The PreXion Elite is 100% manufactured in Brazil.
