Alliance for Albanians criticizes VLEN employment policies
The Alliance for Albanians (ASH) has criticized the VLEN coalition regarding employment policies in North Macedonia. According to ASH, 40.3% of the country's unemployed population consists of Albanians, totaling 35,757 active unemployed individuals.
ASH highlighted a paradox in the current labor market: while over 60% of employers report a need for workers and more than 10,000 job vacancies exist, the government has opened quotas for approximately 10,000 foreign workers. The party accused the VLEN coalition of inflating its success, noting that while Mickoski mentions 17,000 new jobs, the coalition's actual figures involve roughly 2,000 employments and advancements.
The party further stated that these economic conditions are driving Albanian emigration to countries such as Germany, Switzerland, and Austria.
