Alliance leaders campaign in Madurantakam for TVK candidate

Leaders of the Secular Social Justice Victory Alliance held a campaign rally near Madurantakam to support Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) candidate Maragatham Kumaravel.

During the meeting, MDMK General Secretary Vaiko praised Vijay’s administration, describing it as “clean and corruption-free.” He highlighted various initiatives, such as the Singap Penn action force for women's safety and the Kamarajar-named breakfast scheme for students. Vaiko also noted that under the ‘Vetri Tamizhaga’ initiative, industrial investments worth 67,732 crore rupees have been attracted.

VIDUTHALAI KATCHI leader Thol. Thirumavalavan addressed the gathering, discussing the formation of a new political alliance. He recounted past political tensions, specifically mentioning Minister Adhav Arjun. Thirumavalavan claimed that Arjun had attempted to persuade him to leave his current political path by offering positions such as Deputy Chief Minister, but he rejected these attempts to maintain his commitment to a secular, progressive alliance that includes the Congress and Left parties.
