Alliance pour la République holds major assembly in Goudiry

Members and leaders of the Alliance pour la République (APR) held a large-scale general assembly in Goudiry to signal a political redeployment aimed at reclaiming power in Senegal. Led by deputy Djimo Souaré, the event served as a demonstration of the party's territorial influence in the Boundou region.

Souaré emphasized that despite recent electoral losses, the party's base in Goudiry remains loyal to former President Macky Sall. The assembly included a national delegation featuring Abdou Mbow, Néné Fatoumata Tall, Angélique Manga, and Hamidou Anne. Mbow officially declared the start of the party's reconquest efforts from the east, while also criticizing the current government's management of living conditions.
