Allianz and Eli Lilly shares reach new all-time highs
Allianz has reached a new all-time high for its share price, trading around €441 following a strong performance in the first half of the year. The company reported a 4.3% increase in business volume growth to €98.6 billion compared to the previous year. Key drivers included a 15.8% increase in assets under management, reaching €2.1 trillion, and an 8.6% rise in total operating profit to €9.4 billion. Net profit rose by 9% to €6.4 billion. CEO Oliver Bäte attributed these results to the company’s customer-oriented strategy. Allianz has confirmed its annual guidance, expecting an operating result between €16.4 billion and €18.4 billion.
Eli Lilly shares have also hit a new record high, reaching $1,292.65. The pharmaceutical company’s stock has seen a recovery of approximately 52% since its low on April 29. Technical indicators, including the Relative Strength Index (RSI) and MACD, show bullish crossovers on the weekly chart, suggesting continued upward momentum as the stock enters a price-discovery phase without immediate overhead resistance.
